Mid‑August in Bemidji, MN is often hot and humid, with cooler evenings—breathable, lightweight fabrics are best. For cocktail attire: women may choose midi or maxi dresses or jumpsuits; men may wear linen suits or khaki pants. Please prioritize comfort. We love wildflower-inspired colors if you’d like to coordinate.

We do not have a room block at this hotel, but it’s one of three locations the venue will bring guests to after the reception. If booked early, rates can be around $145 per night. Best Western Bemidji is about 12 minutes from Bluebelle Event Venue.

The beach has been reserved for Thursday, August 20th. Come relax, rent a kayak or other water toys, and enjoy a picnic before the wedding party heads to rehearsal from 4:00–5:00 PM.
